Valheim

As of now, this is not needed to play on the server as Valheim can be launched through steam and played as usually. But if you want to make use of the mods on the server, these steps needs to be followed and launching Valheim with the r2modman tool and Start modded function.

Backup

First, make a copy of your Valheim character. Press Windows Button + R to get following window, afterwards enter %appdata%\..\LocalLow

Next, make a full copy of your current Valheim directory IronGate by selecting the folder press Ctrl + C followed by Ctrl + V. The result should be something like this with a directory named IronGate – Copy.

Enable modding

Download the modding tool r2modman first https://valheim.thunderstore.io/package/ebkr/r2modman/.

First time installing – Windows

1. Click “Manual Download”.
2. Inside the downloaded .zip file. Run the “r2modman Setup X.X.X.exe” (where X.X.X is the current version).
3. Follow the steps in the installer.

Now launch the program r2modman.

Select Valheim and press on Set as defualt.

Now click on Select profile, which will load the Default porfile.

Click on the Online tab in the MODS section, use the Search for a mod function and install the following mods:

1. ValheimPlus Grantapher Temporary

Note: be sure to install the ValheimPlus mod by Grantapher!

Now click on the Installed tab in the MODS section and the screen should look like this.

Finally, click on Start modded 🥳
